-Educational Dreams-

If I could go back to school, what would I study and why?

I thought about doing something silly with this topic and saying "I'd go study the fine art of getting permanent marker out of linoleum" but I realize, that's one of the subjects that I'm taking at the School of Life.

So I'll be serious and say that I'd love to study journalism, written and photographic, and graphic design. I started blogging on a personal blog at the beginning of this year that I try to keep up (which is why I don't update this one every day). It's really brought out those skills I used to be so good at when I was in High School.

Since I started blogging, I've been in awe at the photo-blogs I've come across. One of my favorites is Chicago Sunsets. This man lives at the top of one of those high rise buildings so (almost) every day he takes a photo of the beautiful sunset. For one, I think it's wonderful that he's sharing what he's sharing such beauty with everyone else, and two it's just magnificent how different each day's sunset is!

This is one of the reasons I got into scrapbooking. I've never been as creative as I'd like to be. Scrapping has helped bring out those juices. Just throw me on a counter and roll me around like a lemon!

I've recently decided that for the majority of the layouts that I use, I'm not going to use a kit, I'm going to create every element on my own (check out my first kit-free LO here). This is huge for me since I've only been scrapping since March. But I'm dedicated and my drive is still high so I better ride this wave while I still can!
